The journal focuses on, but is not limited to, the following areas: Islet cell adenoma, liver cell adenoma, adenomatous polyposis coli, appendiceal neoplasms, bile duct neoplasms, biliary tract neoplasms, hepatocellular carcinoma, islet cell carcinoma, pancreatic ductal carcinoma, cecal neoplasms, colonic neoplasms, colorectal neoplasms, hereditary nonpolyposis colorectal neoplasms, common bile duct neoplasms, duodenal neoplasms, esophageal neoplasms, gallbladder neoplasms, Gardner syndrome, gastrinoma, gastrointestinal neoplasms, glucagonoma, ileal neoplasms, insulinoma, intestinal neoplasms, jejunal neoplasms, liver neoplasms, experimental liver neoplasms, pancreatic neoplasms, peritoneal neoplasms, rectal neoplasms, sigmoid neoplasms, somatostatinoma, stomach neoplasms, and vipoma. Types of articles published by the journal include clinical study, basic study, case report, editorial, review, minireview, systematic review, meta-analysis, guidelines, and correspondence. All submissions undergo a rigorous and transparent peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers. Manuscripts are evaluated based on scientific rigor, originality, clinical relevance, and reproducibility, with particular attention to methodological robustness and data integrity.
