The journal focuses on, but is not limited to, the following areas: Anesthesiology, cardiology, infectious diseases, oncology, pediatrics, urology, critical care medicine, dermatology, diabetes, experimental medicine, gastroenterology, endoscopy, surgery, hematology, hepatology, hypertension, immunology, medical genetics, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology, pharmacology, psychiatry, radiology, respirology, rheumatology, stem cells, stomatology, transplantation, and virology. Types of articles published by the journal include case report, clinical research, editorial, review, and correspondence.  The journal sincerely welcomes experts and scholars to submit case report and clinical research manuscripts. Each submission will be peer-reviewed by at least two independent reviewers, who will critically assess its novelty, significance, and reproducibility, as well as any flaws in clinical trial design and data processing, in order to provide authors with meaningful peer review reports. The journal adheres to editorial policies, peer-review processes, editorial processes, and publication ethics guidelines developed by the editorial office in accordance with the Committee on Publication Ethics, the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors, and the World Association of Medical Editors.
