World Journal of Clinical Cases is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access academic journal dedicated to publishing rare, complex, and multidisciplinary team-discussed clinical cases, as well as clinical research achievements that are innovative, novel, and practical. The journal focuses on, but is not limited to, the following areas: Anesthesiology, cardiology, infectious diseases, oncology, pediatrics, urology, critical care medicine, dermatology, diabetes, experimental medicine, gastroenterology, endoscopy, surgery, hematology, hepatology, hypertension, immunology, medical genetics, nephrology, neurology, obstetrics and gynecology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, otorhinolaryngology, pharmacology, psychiatry, radiology, respirology, rheumatology, stem cells, stomatology, transplantation, and virology. Types of articles published by the journal include case report, clinical research, editorial, review, and correspondence. All submissions undergo a rigorous and transparent peer-review process by at least two independent reviewers. Manuscripts are evaluated based on scientific rigor, originality, clinical relevance, and reproducibility, with particular attention to methodological robustness and data integrity.
