On June 19, Baishideng annual meeting was held in Tangshan Building (Figure 1), Beijing. Professor Zhen-Xi Li (President of Shanxi Soft Science Research Institute), Professor Guang-An Zu (Direcotr of  Journal Department of National Nature Science Foundation Committee) (Figure 2), Professor Sheng-Li Ren (Associate Editor-in-Chief of Chinese of Science China Press), Professor Jian-Zhong Zhang (Chinese PLA 306 Hospital),  Professor Jing-Yun Ma (predecessor Director of Chinese Medical Journals, Senior Language Editors) (Figure 2, 3), Qian Liu (Director of Chinese Journal of Lung Cancer) (Figure 4), Zi-Yang Zhai et al (editors from Journal of Zhejiang University), President Lian-Sheng Ma and all of the staff (Figure 2, 4, 5) attended the meeting. On the meeting, the impact factor of World Journal of Gastroenterology was announce, which is 2.092 according to SCI report. After then, the meeting focused on the development and future prospects of Baishideng Publishing Group. In the afternoon, all the editors discussed about the working experiences in the editing of scientific journals.
