The impact factor for World Journal of Gastroenterology in 2017 is 3.300
Congratulations! According to the latest Journal Citation Reports (JCR) released by Clarivate Analytics (Former Thomson Reuters) on June 26, 2018, the newly-published 2017 impact factor (IF) of World Journal of Gastroenterology (WJG) is 3.300 (5-year IF: 3.387). In addition, the 2018 ranking for WJG is 35th among 80 journals in gastroenterology and hepatology, and we are pleased to announce that this equates to our entering the Q2 quartile. Figure 1 shows the IF for WJG in 2011-2017.

This new IF represents a rise by 0.578 compared to the previous year’s value. In addition, the 2016 ranking for WJG is 29th among 79 journals in gastroenterology and hepatology, and we are pleased to announce that this equates to our entering the Q2 quartile.

The 2015 eigenfactor score of WJG is 0.058430, ranking 5th, and the number of total cites is 29183, ranking 6th.
