Criteria for Authorship
Authorship credit should be given in accordance with the standard proposed by the ICMJE (http://www.icmje.org/), specifically, authorship is merited by (1) substantial contributions to conception and design of the study, acquisition of data, or analysis and interpretation of data; (2) drafting the article or making critical revisions related to important intellectual content of the manuscript; and (3) final approval of the version of the article to be published. Authors should meet conditions 1, 2 and 3. The detailed <Responsibilities of first author, corresponding author, and other authors> can be found at: https://www.wjgnet.com/bpg/gerinfo/320. The corresponding author is responsible for manuscript integrity review before publication, for detail, please visit at: https://www.wjgnet.com/bpg/gerinfo/321. We hand potential authorship disputes before and after publication according to the guidelines for authorship and contributorship from COPE.
Please note that the co-first author designation is allowed for any Baishideng Publishing Group published article. For the policy of allowing co-first authors and co-corresponding authors who made equal contribution to a manuscript, please visit at: https://www.wjgnet.com/bpg/gerinfo/310.
