In 2016, the World Journal of Hepatology (WJH) has published the 27th issue which containing 5 articles contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Molecular pathological epidemiology in diabetes mellitus and risk of hepatocellular carcinoma”, a Review by Chun Gao, MD, from Department of Gastroenterology, China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Ministry of Health, China; (2) “Independent effects of diet and exercise training on fat oxidation in non-alcoholic fatty liver disease”, an Original Article by Ilaria Croci, PhD, et al from School of Human Movement and Nutrition Sciences, University of Queensland, Australia, etc. We invite you to peruse all 5 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in hepatology that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
