In 2016, the World Journal of Clinical Cases (WJCC) has published the 8th issue which containing 11 articles including 1 Editorial, 3 Original Articles and 7 Case Reports contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Non-pharmacological intervention for posterior cortical atrophy”, an Editorial by Jorge Alves, PhD, et al from the Center for Evidence-Based NeuroRehabilitation, CEREBRO - Brain Health Center, Portugal; (2) “Lateral patellofemoral ligament reconstruction to restore functional capacity in patients previously undergoing lateral retinacular release”, an Original Article by  Mitch Beckert, BS, et al from Department of Orthopedics, University of Iowa, United States, and (3) “Extraordinary sneeze: Spontaneous transmaxillary-transnasal discharge of a migrated dental implant”, a Case Report by Pasquale Procacci, MD, Assistant Professor, et al from Section of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Department of Surgery, University of Verona, Italy, etc. We invite you to peruse all 11 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in clinical cases that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
