In 2018, the World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology (WJGO) has published the 3rd issue which containing 3 articles contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Fusobacterium nucleatum and colorectal cancer: A review”, a Review by Hong-Li Liu, MD, PhD, Professor, Chief Physician, et al from Cancer Center, Union Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China; and (2) “Sessile serrated adenoma detection rate is correlated with adenoma detection rate”, an Original Article by Yosuke Tsuji, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor, et al from Department of Gastroenterology, Graduate School of Medicine, the University of Tokyo, Japan, etc. We invite you to peruse all 3 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in gastrointestinal oncology that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
