In 2017, the World Journal of Orthopedics (WJO) has published the 10th issue which containing 10 articles contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Nuclear medicine imaging in osteonecrosis of hip: Old and current concepts”, a Diagnostic Advances by Sujit Kumar Tripathy, DNB, MBBS, MD, MS, MNAMS, Dip SICOT, MCH (UK), Associate Professor, Doctor, et al from the Department of Orthopaedics, All India Institute of Medical Science, India; (2) “Soft tissue swelling incidence using demineralized bone matrix in the outpatient setting”, an Original Article by Fabio JR Pencle, Research Fellow, et al from the Less Exposure Surgery Society, United States; and (3) “Managing extremely distal periprosthetic femoral supracondylar fractures of total knee replacements - a new PHILOS-ophy”, a Case Report by Kevin J Donnelly, Specialist Registrar, et al from the Department of Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery, Altnagelvin Hospital, United Kingdom, etc. We invite you to peruse all 10 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in orthopedics that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
