In 2016, the World Journal of Hepatology (WJH) has published the 34th issue which containing 7 articles contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Role of nitric oxide in liver transplantation: Should it be routinely used?”, a Minireviews by John D Lang, MD, Associate Professor, et al from Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, University of Washington, United States; (2) “Resection margin influences the outcome of patients with bilobar colorectal liver metastases”, an Original Article by Dhanny Gomez, MD, FRCS, et al from Department of Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic Surgery, Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust, United Kingdom, etc. We invite you to peruse all 7 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in hepatology that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
