In 2016, the World Journal of Hepatology (WJH) has published the 33rd issue which containing 7 articles contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Recent advances in the diagnosis and treatment of primary biliary cholangitis”, a Review by Ying-Qiu Huang, Professor, from Department of Gastroenterology, General Hospital of Benxi Steel and Iron (Group) Co., LTD, Fifth Clinical College of China Medical University, China; (2) “Pancreatic hyperechogenicity associated with hypoadiponectinemia and insulin resistance: A Japanese population study”, an Original Article by Naohiko Makino, MD, PhD, Associate Professor, et al from Department of Gastroenterology, Faculty of Medicine, Yamagata University, Japan, etc. We invite you to peruse all 7 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in hepatology that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
