In 2016, the World Journal of Radiology (WJR) has published the 11st issue which containing 6 articles contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Metabolic positron emission tomography imaging of cancer: Pairing lipid metabolism with glycolysis”, an Editorial by Sandi A Kwee, MD, PhD, et al from the Hamamatsu/Queen’s PET Imaging Center, the Queen’s Medical Center, United States; and (2) “CO2BOLD assessment of moyamoya syndrome: Validation with single photon emission computed tomography and positron emission tomography imaging”, an Original Article by Karl-Olof Lövblad, MD, et al from the Diagnostic and Interventional Neuroradiology, Geneva University Hospitals, Switzerland, etc. We invite you to peruse all 6 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in radiology that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
