Figure 1 Neurotrophic factors and post-stroke anxiety and depression. Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) levels demonstrate significant diagnostic value for post-stroke depression with an area under the curve of 0.81, showing good discriminatory ability. At the optimal cut-off value of 21.3 ng/mL, IGF-1 provides 76.7% sensitivity and 79.5% specificity, effectively distinguishing between patients with and without post-stroke depression, confirming the significantly lower IGF-1 serum levels in the post-stroke anxiety and depression group compared with controls.
