Core Tip
Core Tip: Depression complicated by respiratory failure presents formidable hurdles in clinical management. This editorial delves into a dedicated nursing model that amalgamates psychological support, respiratory care, sleep optimization, and tailored strategies. It significantly improves patients’ mood, lung function, exercise tolerance, and treatment adherence while also reducing adverse event rates. The model holds promise for managing complex comorbidities. Future multi-center studies and long-term follow-up are needed to further validate its broad applicability and enduring advantages.
