The diagram depicts the identification, screening, and inclusion of studies based on the PRISMA guidelines. A total of 528 records were identified through four databases: PubMed (n = 186), EMBASE (n = 152), Scopus (n = 118), and Cochrane Central Register of Controlled Trials (n = 72). After removing 64 duplicates, 464 records were screened. Of these, 324 were sought for full-text retrieval, and 165 were assessed for eligibility. Ultimately, 5 randomized controlled trials were included in the final synthesis.
