Figure 1 Brief procedures for single-cell sequencing.
Single-cell sequencing involves isolating individual cells, capturing their genetic material and amplifying it to create a library for high-throughput sequencing. The generated data are then processed and analysed to uncover cellular diversity and understand the function of individual cells within a complex tissue. This technique allows for the exploration of cellular heterogeneity at an unprecedented resolution, providing insights into the molecular mechanisms that govern processes and diseases.
