Core tip: The incidence of Fasciolopsis buski infestation is low in modern society, and Fasciolopsis buski infestation as a cause of acute appendicitis is even rare. We describe two patients with appendicitis caused by Fasciolopsis buski infestation and summarize the diagnosis and treatment of the disease.
