Abstract
This is an erratum to "Sun MZ, Dang SS, Wang WJ, Jia XL, Zhai S, Zhang X, Li M, Li YP, Xun M. Cytokeratin 8 is increased in hepatitis C virus cells and its ectopic expression induces apoptosis of SMMC7721 cells". Due to current publication standards, Figures 1A and 7A in this manuscript are identical to images appearing in Chinese articles published by other authors in our research group. These figures will therefore be replaced with alternative images from the same experimental batch. This modification did not affect the study's results or conclusions.
