Dear Sir or Madam:

To publish high-quality original articles for our global readers and to prioritize publishing high-quality original articles of young researchers are the most important tasks of World Journal of Gastroenterology (WJG).

We are very pleased to announce that, from August 12, 2012, WJG will give priority to peer review and publication of articles from young researchers (<45 years old). The paper will be published free of charge if it is accepted (1365 USD per article). There are no restrictions on the number of words, figures (color, B/W), tables, references.  Young researchers are welcome to submit their high-quality original articles to WJG.

The criteria for priority publishing in WJG are as follows: the age of the first author must be under 45 years of age (born after September 1, 1967); and the article must be rated AAA, AAB or ABB by all of the three peer reviewers as classification of manuscript academic content evaluation(A: Excellent; B: very good). If these criteria are not met, the authors must pay the publication fee themselves.

Please submit your paper via the WJG Editorial Office Online System (http://www.wjgnet.com/1007-9327office/). Please indicate that the age of the first author is under 45 years of age (born after September 1, 1967) in the cover letter. Format for Original Articles
