A meeting between Professor Anil K Mandal, University of Florida, Mandal Diabetes Research Foundation, FL, United States, the Editor-in-Chief of World Journal of Nephrology and Baishideng Publishing Group Co., Limited (BPG) staffs was held on March 6, 2012 at BPG’s office in Beijing. Mr. Jin-Lei Wang, the director of World Journal of Nephrology, Miss Xing Wu, the assistant director of World Journal of Diabetes and other staffs of BPG attended the meeting. How could the World Journal of Nephrology be world famous and how the journal attracts more authors, more readers were discussed. As what BPG always does, Professor Mandal pointed out that the journal should only publish high quality scientific articles peer-reviewed by the editorial board members. Professor Mandal and Mr. Wang indicated that they will work together to make the journal well known in the area of nephrology as well as the relevant field.
