INTRODUCTION
All articles published by Baishideng Publishing Group (Baishideng) are selected by an in-house editor and fully peer-reviewed by external reviewers. Baishideng applies the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, which permits others to distribute, remix, adapt, build upon this work non-commercially, and license their derivative works on different terms, provided the original work is properly cited and the use is non-commercial. OPEN-ACCESS
All Baishideng journals are open-access (OA). An Article Processing Charge (APC) for OA publication will be invoiced upon the acceptance of each manuscript and remitted in full by the authors’ affiliations or funders to Baishideng before publication. The APC covers the costs of peer review, copyediting, typesetting, long-term archiving, and journal management.
RULES OF APC
For unsolicited manuscripts, the following four levels of APC apply: (1) Standard APC, for general manuscripts; (2) Young scholars under 45 years-old as first authors; and (3) Registered journal editorial board members or peer reviewers as first or corresponding authors, which is not applicable to other Baishideng journals. We also provide preferential APC in line with the Research4Life programme as follows: Group A countries: APC is fully waived; and Group B countries: APC level #3. For invited manuscripts, the APC is fully waived.
