 In 2016, the World Journal of Radiology (WJR) has published the 8th issue which containing 6 articles contributed by scientists worldwide. Among these comprehensive articles are (1) “Peripheral nerve imaging: Not only cross-sectional area”, an Editorial by Alberto Stefano Tagliafico, MD, Radiologist, Assistant Professor, et al from the Department of Experimental Medicine, DIMES, Institute of Anatomy, University of Genova, Italy; and (2) “Tumor characteristics of ductal carcinoma in situ of breast visualized on [F-18] fluorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography/computed tomography: Results from a retrospective study”, an Original Article by Ukihide Tateishi, MD, et al from the Department of Diagnostic Radiology, Tokyo Medical and Dental University, Japan, etc. We invite you to peruse all 6 articles in this issue, as they present the latest research progress/findings and provide insightful comments in radiology that will guide basic research and clinical practice in these fields.
