The consensus systematically describes the purpose, significance, implementation method, indications and contraindications of ultrasound-guided injection in the treatment of spinal pain.
Ultrasound provides real-time information during targeted injection of spinal pain, which can be injected more accurately and reduce the risk of complications. In order to achieve the maximum therapeutic effect, the guidelines also provide the corresponding requirements for the management department, equipment and implementation conditions of medical institutions which providing spinal pain injection technology, and make clear the indications and contraindications. The article also introduces the injection technology of pain in spine under the guidance of ultrasound, including the technical reference of cervical, thoracic, lumbar and sacral spin.
This consensus is helpful to guide clinicians and medical experts to use ultrasound-guided injection correctly in the treatment of spinal pain.
