This table compares the baseline demographic and clinical characteristics between the two groups. Continuous variables (age, years of education, body mass index, disease duration) were analyzed using independent samples t-tests, while categorical variables (gender, Clinical Dementia Rating classification, complications) were analyzed using χ² tests. The results showed no statistically significant differences between the control group and the combined group in any of the baseline variables (all P > 0.05), indicating that the two groups were comparable at baseline. This table presents the comparison of Patient Dignity Inventory scores before and after intervention between the two groups. Data are expressed as mean ± SD. Repeated measures ANOVA was used to analyze changes over time within each group and between-group differences. Significant improvements in all dimensions and total score were observed after treatment (P < 0.001), with the combined group showing greater reductions than the control group.

This table compares Cornell Scale for Depression in Dementia (CSDD) scores between the two groups before and after the intervention. Within-group comparisons (before: After treatment) were conducted using paired t-tests, and between-group comparisons at each time point were conducted using independent samples t-tests. Before treatment, there was no significant difference in CSDD scores between groups (P > 0.05). After treatment, both groups showed significant reductions in CSDD scores compared to baseline (both P < 0.001), with the combined group achieving significantly lower scores than the control group (P < 0.001).
