Figure 1
Figure 1 Significant differences in tumor size, microvascular invasion, differentiation degree, and 1-year survival rate between alcohol dehydrogenase 4 high/Low expression groups. Tumor size: Tumors were significantly smaller in the alcohol dehydrogenase 4 (ADH4) high expression group. Microvascular invasion: The microvascular invasion positivity rate was more than double in the ADH4 low expression group. Differentiation degree: The proportion of well-differentiated patients was higher in the ADH4 high expression group. Survival rate: The ADH4 high expression group showed a clear 1-year survival advantage. ADH4: Alcohol dehydrogenase 4; MVI: Microvascular invasion.
Figure 2
Figure 2 Analysis of alcohol dehydrogenase 4 expression and patient survival prognosis and negative correlation between alcohol dehydrogenase 4 expression level and psychological scores. A: Analysis of alcohol dehydrogenase 4 (ADH4) expression and patient survival prognosis. The survival rate of the ADH4 high expression group was consistently higher than that of the low expression group at all time points, indicating that ADH4 is an important protective factor; B: Negative correlation between ADH4 expression level and psychological scores. Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale were significantly higher in the ADH4 Low expression/negative group. Correlation analysis showed that ADH4 expression was negatively correlated with both Hamilton Anxiety Scale (r = -0.456) and Hamilton Depression Scale (r = -0.482) scores, suggesting that low ADH4 expression may be associated with more severe anxiety and depression states. ADH4: Alcohol dehydrogenase 4.
