External stress influences the expression of intracellular non-coding RNAs, which are precisely packaged into exosomes. Due to the load diversity of exosomes and their ability to bi-directionally penetrate the blood-brain barrier, they have emerged as potential non-invasive biomarkers for the screening, diagnosis, and treatment of brain disorders.
