Core Tip

Core Tip: Bile acids play a crucial regulatory role in the development and progression of cholangiocarcinoma through the hippo-yes-associated protein signaling pathway. In this study, we aim to evaluate the current significance and limitations of bile acids in cholangiocarcinoma via the hippo-yes-associated protein signaling pathway. Based on this assessment, we propose that future research should incorporate more diverse model systems to validate existing findings and further explore the interactions between this pathway and other signaling networks, thereby constructing a more comprehensive molecular mechanism landscape. This letter is intended to provide a theoretical reference for subsequent mechanistic investigations and clinical translational research, while also outlining potential future research directions in this field.
