I’m very glad to review this review. It discusses the effects of hypoxia and inflammatory microenvironment on different odontogenic mesenchymal stem cells. And the clinic trials of dental mesenchymal stem cells were also analyzed. The authors of dutifully summarize a large amount of literature about the microenvironments on odontogenic mesenchymal stem cells. In conclusion, this review is very attractive to readers. However, A few minor revisions are listed below.
Minor comments:
1. Oral Diseases are a general name of a large group of oral related diseases. In the introduction, there is no basis for the conclusion about "For the medical treatment of oral diseases, Periodontal treatment, dental implants, and dental protheses are the gold standards".
2. Consider removing the sentence “Furthermore, the gingival tissue is highly vascularized, thanks to the high number of anastomoses”. Because the expression of this sentence and the literature cited seem to be irrelevant to the context.
3. Table 1 and Table 2 are not comprehensive enough. In my opinion, some articles should be concerned with authors. (Such as PMID: 31599069, PMID: 31568642 and so on)
4. The font used in Figure 3 should make clearer.
