Figure 1 Serologic recurrence and virologic recurrence after off-treatment in patients with hepatitis B e antigen positive hepatitis.
A: Serologic recurrence after off-treatment in patients with hepatitis B e antigen (HBeAg) positive hepatitis who achieved the successful end point of virologic response; B: Virologic recurrence after off-treatment in HBeAg positive hepatitis.
Figure 2 Using the two predictive factors for virological recurrence (age > 40 yr vs≤ 40 yr and consolidation treatment duration < 15 mo vs≥ 15 mo).
Patients were categorized into 3 groups. Group A: Patients with aged ≤ 40 yr and consolidation treatment duration ≥ 15 mo; Group B: Patients with either aged ≤ 40 yr or consolidation treatment duration ≥ 15 mo; Group C: Patients with aged > 40 yr and consolidation treatment for < 15 mo. P values were derived from the log-rank test (group A vs group B, P = 0.291; group A vs group C, P = 0.014, respectively).
