Reader Comments:
In general it is an informative letter to the editor, concise and valuable for publication. As a comment, I would suggest that the authors make a better presentation of the text, possibly enriching the pathophysiologic mechanisms of the disease. Moreover, they could also include current recommendations about vitamin D supplementation.

In this letter to the editor, the author discusses about vitamin D deficiency and comorbidities in COVID 19. The author gave an overview of vitamin D deficiency, CVID 19 infection, comorbidities due to COVID 19 infection and how low vitamin D levels could be a risk factor for comorbidities. The content used in this letter is very well referenced. The language used is inclusive and reader-friendly. The author referenced that vitamin D level can be increased to 80-100 ng/ml without side effects but such a level of vitamin D can cause hypercalcemia, hypercalciuria and predispose to kidney stones.
