Wang Huadong, MD, received his PhD degree in integrative medicine from Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. He is professor in the department of Pathophysiology, School of medicine, Jinan University, Guangzhou, China. He is currently deputy director of Health Science Center, vice chairman of the medical subcommittee of the degree evaluation committee, President of school of Medicine, and director of the Key Laboratory of pathophysiology of the State Administration of traditional Chinese medicine at Jinan University. He also serves as the ninth vice president of the Chinese Association of Pathophysiology, the deputy editor in chief of the Chinese Journal of pathophysiology, the chairman of the professional committee of inflammation, fever, infection and hypothermia of the Chinese Association of Pathophysiology, the vice chairman of the professional committee of shock and sepsis of the Chinese Research Hospital Association, and the chairman of the Guangdong Society of Pathophysiology. He has long been engaged in the research on the pathogenesis, prevention and treatment of fever and sepsis, as well as the management of medical education. He has received extensive research funding, such as national natural science foundation projects and key scientific and technological research projects of the Ministry of education, published more than 90 papers in domestic and foreign journals, including shock, crit care, International Journal of Cardiology and signal transform target ther. He also published 20 Book Chapters, also received the prize of Guangdong medical science and Technology Progress Award and the prize of natural science nominated by the Ministry of education, Won 2 national invention patents, presided over the excellent teaching team of Guangdong Province and the first-class course of pathophysiology in Guangdong Province.
