Figure 1 Main characteristics of consensus molecular subtypes in colorectal cancers.
After the patient undergoes a biopsy, the diagnosis of colorectal cancer is made and subsequent stratification by tumor-node-metastasis is performed. Samples can be obtained to allow wide genome sequencing analysis with the objective of characterization into one of four consensus molecular subtypes. CMS: Consensus molecular subtypes; SCNA: Somatic copy number alterations.
