The occurrence of ischemia reperfusion injury in the liver can trigger immune and inflammatory responses, resulting in the aggregation of neutrophils, macrophages and other immune cells at the injury site and the release of a large number of pro-inflammatory factors, thereby affecting the functions of the intestine and liver. AMP-activated protein kinase pathway plays an important regulatory role in this process.
