Core Tip: This retrospective study verifies that systematic self-care education markedly boosts colorectal cancer patients’ intestinal stoma self-care ability, elevates stoma quality of life scores and nursing satisfaction, and reduces stoma-related complication incidence and readmission rates, warranting wide clinical adoption for stoma care.
