Reader Comments:
Small bowel adenocarcinoma (SBA) is a rare malignancy of the gastrointestinal tract. This article introduces the possible etiology and incidence of SBA in detail, and reviews the current literature on the clinical diagnosis and treatment of SBA. It is helpful for clinicians to further understand and deal with SBA. As mentioned in this article, the most common site of SBA is the duodenum, for SBA in the duodenum, attention should be paid to the way of intestinal anastomosis after surgical resection. Generally, side-to-side anastomosis is advocated to prevent postoperative anastomotic stenosis. This is not mentioned in the article.

Reader Comments:
This paper is well written in every detail and is very informative to learn about SBA. My comment is only one thing. For surgeons like us, the contents of TREATMENT are rather small. For example, if the depth of duodenal cancer is mucosal, endoscopic resection might be adequate. Of course, it depends on the location. If the duodenal cancer is located in the first portion, some surgeons may select pancreatoduodenectomy and some may choose distal gastrectomy. This is debatable.
