Abstract

We have decided to retract the above article because we have concluded that the limitations in our data sample may potentially lead to misinterpretation of the findings.

TO THE EDITOR

As the corresponding author, I am writing on behalf of all co-authors to request the withdrawal of our paper titled "Association between triglyceride-glucose index and colorectal polyps: A retrospective cross-sectional study"[1], which was published in World J Gastrointest Endosc 2024; 16(2): 55-63 [PMID: 38464818 DOI: 10.4253/wjge.v16.i2.55]. This decision comes after a thorough and unanimous agreement among all authors due to concerns regarding the clinical data sample size, which we now realize is not adequate to support the research conclusions presented in this paper.

Upon further review and consultation, we have concluded that the limitations in our data sample may potentially lead to misinterpretation of the findings. This realization compels us to act responsibly by retracting the paper to uphold the integrity of the scientific record and ensure that all published research is robust and reliable. Please find attached a signed consent form from all co-authors, indicating our unanimous agreement to withdraw this publication.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and are prepared to comply with any required procedures to facilitate this withdrawal. We deeply appreciate your understanding and assistance in this matter.
