Figure 1
Figure 1 Factors associated with complications following endoscopic ultrasound- fine needle biopsy. A: Distribution of complications in patients with and without comorbidities; B: Number of cases with and without complications according to the endoscopist’s years of experience; C: Pearson correlation coefficients between the occurrence of complications and key predictors. A significant negative correlation was observed with years of experience and coded experience (P = 0.014 and P = 0.050, respectively), suggesting that higher experience is associated with fewer complications. The correlation with comorbidities was positive but not statistically significant (P = 0.214). Blue bars indicate statistically significant associations (P < 0.05).
Figure 2
Figure 2 Radar chart displaying the profiles of the two identified clusters based on patient characteristics. Cluster 1 is composed of younger male patients (mean age, 51 years) while cluster 2 comprises older female patients (mean age, 74 years). Both clusters showed identical values for complications (none reported) and comorbidities (mean = 1), indicating that age and sex were the primary distinguishing variables in the cluster solution.
