Figure 1 Detection of Fas and Bcl-2 proteins in BEL-7404 human hepatoma cells.
(1) Fas antigen was stained by the avidin- biotin-peroxidase complex. Reaction products were visible in almost all the cells. (2) Same as in 1, except that rabbit anti-human polyclonal antibody to Fas was replaced by normal rabbit serum. (3) BEL-7404 cells were incubated with mouse anti-human monoclonal antibody to Bcl-2. Positive grains detected by alkaline-phosphatase-conjugated avidin-biotin complex were also visible in almost all the cells. (4) Same as in 3, except that the primary antibody to Bcl-2 was replaced by normal mouse serum. Original magnification × 200.
