Figure 1 Serum hepatokine levels according to hepatic steatosis. Serum levels of angiopoietin-like protein 6 (ANGPTL6) and fibroblast growth factor 21 (FGF21) in subjects with and without ultrasound-diagnosed steatotic liver disease (SLD). Patients with SLD showed significantly higher levels of ANGPTL6 and FGF21 No significant differences were observed for other hepatokines. ANGPTL6: Angiopoietin-like protein 6; FGF21: Fibroblast growth factor 21.
