Peripheral blood mononuclear cells were isolated from individuals with genotype AA (n = 8), GG (n = 5), and AG (n = 9), cultured and treated with lipopolysaccharide (1 µg/mL) for 6 h. Subsequently, the mRNA expression of the indicated genes and the house-keeping control GAPDH was analyzed by real-time PCR. Data are presented as averaged ΔCt values ± standard error of mean. aP < 0.05 vs genotype GG.
