Title: Serial circulating tumor DNA as a biomarker for monitoring and prognostication in patients with pancreatic cancer. In this study involving 168 eligible patients with pancreatic cancer, the authors demonstrated the role of circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) as a clinically relevant biomarker in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. They contend that ctDNA offers a minimally invasive approach to disease monitoring and therapy assessment.
