Depression-related diseases have long been defined under the title of psychosomatic diseases. In recent years, the contribution and relationship of depression to diseases has begun to be detailed. The authors have conducted the first detailed bibliometric study that projects the enormous patient data in China into the future. Although psychosomatic disorders have been described in many organs, the connection between stomach tumors and depression has been established, but it is still unknown how it leads to tumor development. As with many other organs, more precise research is needed on how depression causes the etiology of stomach tumors. The article is valuable in terms of its deep analysis and content and projection into the future.
