For early gastric cancer patients, besides EMR and ESD, a considerable proportion of patients need to choose surgery, but its surgical method and the scope of lymph nodes dissection have always been controversial. The author investigate the life prognosis of SNNS for gastric cancer in comparison with guidelines surgery, through the retrospectively contrastive research with 239 patients in the SNNS group and 423 patients in the control group. The research draws an conclusion that the oncological safety of patients who undergo gastrectomy guided by sentinel node navigation is not inferior to that of the guidelines surgery. Although there are still some biases in the experimental design and case inclusion criteria, the conclusion still has a certain credibility, and it provides a certain reference value for the cinical treatment of early gastric cancer.
