It is well known that tumor markers are associated with tumor stages. Was there any corelation between lens culinaris agglutinin-reactive fraction of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP L3 level) and tumor size in hepatocellular carcinoma in the present study? In addition, was the AFP L3 level correlated with tumor cell differentiation?
