Reader Comments:
It is a pleasure to have been able to read this review article, which fully summarizes the most important aspects of inflammatory damage in the gastrointestinal tract (liver, pancreas, ileum and colon), caused by COVID-19 infection. This is a very important topic not only for gastroenterologists, but also for endocrinologists and internists.
Perhaps my only suggestion could be to summarize the number of references, and consider the most necessary for future manuscripts.
