Abstract
Radiopharmaceuticals are drugs used in treatment or diagnosis that contain a radioactive part, usually a pharmaceutical part in their structure. Adverse drug reactions are harmful and unexpected responses that occur when administered at normal doses. Although radiopharmaceuticals are regarded as safe medical products, adverse reactions should not be ignored. More serious adverse reactions such as myelosuppression, pleural effusion, and death may develop in therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals due to their use at higher doses than those used in diagnosis. Therefore, monitoring adverse reactions and reporting them to health authorities is important. This review aims to provide information about adverse reactions that may be related to radiopharmaceuticals used in treatment.

Abstract
AIM To meta-analyze the utility of transarterial radioembolization (TARE) in patients with liver metastatic breast cancer (BC), based on the objective response rate (ORR) and disease control rate (DCR). METHODS A literature search was performed retrieving studies with (1) at least 10 patients with liver metastatic BC treated with TARE and (2) adequate information to derive ORR and DCR. The ORR is the ratio between patients with liver lesions showing complete response (CR) or partial response (PR) over the total number of patients treated with TARE; the DCR is the ratio between patients with CR, PR, or stable disease (SD) over the total number of patients treated with TARE. RESULTS Eighteen studies (650 patients) were eligible; the ORR of TARE resulted 50.71% (95% C.I.: 40.04-61.36) and the DCR resulted 88.37% (95% C.I.: 81.89-93.57). Taking into account resin spheres (395 patients), the ORR was 60.35% (95% C.I.: 46.55-73.36) and the DCR was 92.73% (95% C.I.: 87.17-96.80%). Considering glass spheres (144 patients), the ORR was 32.38% (95% C.I.: 18.43-48.16) and the DCR was 82.69% (95% C.I.: 59.29-97.26). CONCLUSIONS This meta-analysis favors the use of TARE in patients with liver metastatic BC either with resin or glass spheres.

Abstract
Introduction The aim of this study is to conduct a meta-analysis to assess the efficacy of yttrium-90 selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) in treating patients with breast cancer with hepatic metastasis. Method PubMed and The Cochrane Library were queried from establishment to January 2021. The following keywords were implemented: "breast", "yttrium", and "radioembolization". The following variables and outcomes were collected: publication year, region, sample size, study design, presence of extrahepatic disease, tumor burden, infused radioactivity, breast cancer subtype, previous treatment, median survival time (MST), length of follow-up, adverse events, and radiographical response such as Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST), modified RECIST (mRECIST), and Positron Emission Tomography Response Criteria in Solid Tumors (PERCIST). Results A total of 24 studies from 14 institutions were included in the present meta-analysis. On the basis of the data from 412 patients, post-embolization MST was 9.8 [95% confidence interval (CI): 9.0-11.6] months. Patients with additional extrahepatic metastasis had a poorer survival rate compared with those with localized hepatic metastasis only (MST: 5.3 vs. 15 months, p < 0.0001). Patients with <25% liver tumor burden exhibited more promising survival than those with >25% (MST: 10.5 vs. 6.8 months, p < 0.0139). On the basis of RECIST, mRECIST, and PERCIST criteria, tumor response rate was 36% (95% CI: 26%-47%), 49% (95% CI: 34%-65%), and 47% (95% CI: 17%-78%), respectively, whereas tumor control rate was 85% (95% CI: 76%-93%), 73% (95% CI: 59%-85%), and 97% (95% CI: 91%-100%), respectively. Conclusion On the basis of the available published evidence, SIRT is feasible and effective in treating patients with breast cancer with liver metastasis. Patients with lower hepatic tumor burden and without extrahepatic metastasis demonstrated more survival benefit. Future randomized controlled trials are warranted.

Transarterial Yttrium-90 Glass Microsphere Radioembolization of Chemotherapy-Refractory Breast Cancer Liver Metastases: Results of a Single Institution Retrospective Study. Abstract
Purpose Our purpose was to retrospectively evaluate the safety and efficacy of transarterial hepatic radioembolization (TARE) treatment with yttrium-90 labeled glass microspheres in patients with chemotherapy-refractory breast cancer with liver-dominant metastatic disease. Methods and Materials This retrospective single-institution study evaluated 31 female patients (mean age of 59.6 ± 13.2 years) who were treated with TARE. All patients received and progressed on systemic chemotherapy before TARE. Twenty-one patients also had extrahepatic metastases, including 13 patients who had metastases in bones only besides the liver. Survival data were analyzed by Kaplan-Meier method and compared using log-rank test. Imaging response to treatment was determined by Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors. Results Median overall survival (OS) from the TARE was 13 months (95% confidence interval, 9.1-16.9 months). The survival probability at 1, 2, and 3 years was 60.1%, 36.7%, and 24.5%, respectively. The median hepatic progression-free survival was 7 months (95% confidence interval, 6.1-7.9 months). There was no 30-day mortality and 3 patients (9.4%) had grade 3 toxicity. Estrogen receptor (ER) positive status predicted prolonged survival (14 months for ER+ vs 9 months for ER-; P = .028). Patients who had bone-only extrahepatic disease had higher OS than patients with extraosseous metastases (23 vs 8 months, P = .02). At the 3-month follow-up the radiographic objective response rate was 46.6% and disease control rate was 70%. Conclusions The treatment of patients with liver-dominant chemotherapy-refractory breast cancer metastases with TARE using yttrium-90 labeled glass microspheres is safe and led to promising hepatic disease control and OS especially in patients with ER+ tumors and in patients without extrahepatic extraosseous metastases.

Abstract
Selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) is a therapy option in patients with breast cancer liver metastasis (BCLM). This analysis aimed at identifying a prognostic score regarding overall survival (OS) after SIRT using routine pretherapeutic parameters. Retrospective analysis of 38 patients (age, 59 (39-84) years) with BCLM and 42 SIRT procedures. Cox regression for OS included clinical factors (age, ECOG and prior treatments), laboratory parameters, hepatic tumor load and dose reduction due to hepatopulmonary shunt. Elevated baseline ALT and/or AST was present if CTCAE grade ≥ 2 was fulfilled (>3 times the upper limit of normal). Median OS after SIRT was 6.4 months. In univariable Cox, ECOG ≥ 1 (hazard ratio (HR), 3.8), presence of elevated baseline ALT/AST (HR, 3.8), prior liver surgery (HR, 10.2), and dose reduction of 40% (HR, 8.1) predicted shorter OS (each p < 0.05). Multivariable Cox confirmed ECOG ≥ 1 (HR, 2.34; p = 0.012) and elevated baseline ALT/AST (HR, 4.16; p < 0.001). Combining both factors, median OS decreased from 19.2 months (0 risk factors; n = 14 procedures) to 5.9 months (1 factor; n = 20) or 2.2 months (2 factors; n = 8; p < 0.001). The proposed score may facilitate pretherapeutic identification of patients with unfavorable OS after SIRT. This may help to balance potential life prolongation with the hazards of invasive treatment and hospitalization.

Abstract
Background The liver is the second most common site of breast cancer metastasis. Liver directed therapies including hepatic resection, radiofrequency ablation (RFA), transarterial chemo- and radioembolization (TACE/TARE), and hepatic arterial infusion (HAI) have been scarcely researched for breast cancer liver metastasis (BCLM). The purpose of this review is to present the known body of literature on these therapies for BCLM. Methods A systematic review was performed with pre-specified search terms using PubMed, MEDLINE, EMBASE, and Cochrane Review resulting in 9,957 results. After review of abstracts and application of exclusion criteria, 51 studies were included in this review. Results Hepatic resection afforded the longest median overall survival (mOS) and 5-year survival (45 mo, 41%) across 23 studies. RFA was presented in six studies with pooled mOS and 5-year survival of 38 mo and 11–33%. Disease burden and tumor size was lower amongst hepatic resection and RFA patients. TACE was presented in eight studies with pooled mOS and 1-year survival of 19.6 mo and 32–88.8%. TARE was presented in 10 studies with pooled mOS and 1-year survival of 11.5 mo and 34.5–86%. TACE and TARE populations were selected for chemo-resistant, unresectable disease. Hepatic arterial infusion was presented in five studies with pooled mOS of 11.3 months. Conclusion Although further studies are necessary to delineate appropriate usage of liver directed therapies in BCLM, small studies suggest hepatic resection and RFA, in well selected patients, can result in prolonged survival. Longitudinal studies with larger cohorts are warranted to further investigate the effectiveness of each modality.

Abstract
PURPOSE To determine predictors of survival after transarterial radioembolization of hepatic metastases from breast cancer. MATERIALS AND METHODS Twenty-four patients with chemotherapy-refractory hepatic metastases from breast cancer who underwent radioembolization from 2013 to 2018 were evaluated based on various demographic and clinical factors before and after treatment. Overall survival (OS) was estimated by Kaplan-Meier method. Log-rank analysis was performed to determine predictors of prolonged OS from the time of first radioembolization and first hepatic metastasis diagnosis. RESULTS Median OS times were 35.4 and 48.6 months from first radioembolization and time of hepatic metastasis diagnosis, respectively. Radioembolization within 6 months of hepatic metastasis diagnosis was a positive predictor of survival from first radioembolization, with median OS of 38.9 months vs 22.1 months for others (P = .033). Estrogen receptor (ER)-positive status predicted prolonged survival (38.6 months for ER+ vs 5.4 months for ER-; P = .005). The presence of abdominal pain predicted poor median OS: 12.8 months vs 38.6 months for others (P < .001). The presence of ascites was also a negative predictor of OS (1.7 months vs 35.4 months for others; P = .037), as was treatment-related grade ≥ 2 toxicity at 3 months (5.4 months vs 38.6 months for others; P = .017). CONCLUSIONS In patients with metastatic breast cancer, radioembolization within 6 months of hepatic metastasis diagnosis and ER+ status appear to be positive predictors of prolonged survival. Conversely, baseline abdominal pain, baseline ascites, and treatment-related grade ≥ 2 toxicity at 3 months after treatment appear to be negative predictors of OS.

Abstract
BACKGROUND Liver metastases secondary to breast cancer are associated with unfavourable prognosis. Radioembolization with ytrrium-90 is an emerging option for management of liver metastases of breast cancer when other systemic therapies have failed to achieve disease control. However, unlike the case of other liver tumours (colorectal/melanoma metastases/cholangiocarcinoma), its role in the management of breast liver metastases is yet to be elucidated.
AIM The aims of this systematic review were to (1) assess the effect of radioembolization with yttrium-90 on tumour response; and (2) to estimate patient survival post radioembolization.
METHODS The review was performed using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses. A systematic literature search was performed using the PubMed and EMBASE databases from January 2007 to December 2018. The initial search yielded 265 reports which were potentially suitable for inclusion in this review. Studies published in English reporting at least one outcome of interest were considered to be suitable for inclusion. Conference abstracts; case reports, animal studies and reports not published in English were excluded from this review. Data was retrieved from each individual report on the name of primary author, year of publication, patient demographics, type of microspheres used, radiation dose delivered to tumour, duration of follow-up, disease control rate (%), tumour response, and overall patient survival.
RESULTS The final number of studies which met the inclusion criteria was 12 involving 452 patients. There were no randomized controlled trials identified after the literature search. The age of the patients included in this review ranged from 52 to 61 years. The duration of the follow up period post-radioembolization ranged from 6 to 15.7 mo. The total number of patients with breast metastases not confined to the liver was 236 (52.2%). Cumulative analysis revealed that radioembolization with yttrium-90 conferred tumour control rate in 81% of patients. Overall survival post-radioembolization ranged from 3.6 to 20.9 mo with an estimated mean survival of 11.3 mo.
CONCLUSION Radioembolization with ytrrium-90 appears to confer control of tumour growth rate in most patients, however its effect on patient survival need to be elucidated further. Furthermore, quality evidence in the form of randomized trials is needed in order to assess the effect of radioembolization in more depth.

Abstract
BACKGROUND The hepatic arterial anatomy is highly variable, with the two most common variants being a replaced right hepatic artery (RHA) originating from the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) and a left hepatic artery (LHA) originating from the left gastric artery (LGA). These anatomical variants could potentially increase the risk for non-target embolization during Y90-Radioembolization due to the close proximity between hepatic and enteric vessel branches.
AIM To evaluate the safety of Yttrium-90 radioembolization (90Y-RE) with resin microspheres in patients with a variant hepatic arterial anatomy.
METHODS In this retrospective single-center observational study, 11 patients who underwent RE with 90Y-resin microspheres via a LHA originating from the LGA, and 13 patients via a RHA originating from the SMA were included. Patient and treatment data were reviewed regarding clinical and imaging evidence of non-target embolization of 90Y-resin microspheres to the GI tract. Positioning of the tip of the microcatheter in relationship to the last hepatoenteric side branch was retrospectively analyzed using angiographic images, cone-beam CT and pre-interventional CT-angiograms.
RESULTS None of the 24 patients developed clinical symptoms indicating a potential non-target embolization to the GI tract within the first month after 90Y-RE. On the postinterventional 90Y-bremsstrahlung images and/or 90Y-positron emission tomographies, no evidence of extrahepatic 90Y-activity in the GI tract was noted in any of the patients. The mean distance between the tip of the microcatheter and the last enteric side branch during delivery of the 90Y microspheres was 3.2 cm (range: 1.9-5 cm) in patients with an aberrant LHA originating from a LGA. This was substantially shorter than the mean distance of 5.2 cm (range: 2.9-7.7 cm) in patients with an aberrant right hepatic originating from the SMA.
CONCLUSION 90Y-RE via aberrant hepatic arteries appears to be safe; at least with positioning of the microcatheter tip no less than 1.9 cm distal to the last hepatoenteric side branch vessel.

Abstract
Liver metastasis from breast cancer is associated with poor prognosis and is a major cause of early morbidity and mortality. When liver resection is not feasible, minimally invasive directed therapies are considered to attempt to prolong survival. Selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) with yttrium-90 microspheres is a liver-directed therapy that can improve local control of liver metastases from colorectal cancer. We present a case of a patient with a ductal breast adenocarcinoma, who developed liver and bone metastasis despite extensive treatment with systemic chemotherapies. Following SIRT to the liver, after an initial response, the patient ultimately progressed in the liver after 7 months. Liver tumor histology obtained 20 months after the SIRT intervention demonstrated the presence of the resin microspheres in situ. This case report demonstrates the long-term control that may be achieved with SIRT to treat liver metastases from breast cancer that is refractory to previous chemotherapies, and the presence of microspheres in situ long-term.

Abstract
This Critical Review reviews the origin and chemical and rheological complexity of radioactive waste at the U.S. Department of Energy Hanford Site. The waste, stored in underground tanks, was generated via three distinct processes over decades of plutonium extraction operations. Although close records were kept of original waste disposition, tank-to-tank transfers and conditions that impede equilibrium complicate our understanding of the chemistry, phase composition, and rheology of the waste. Tank waste slurries comprise particles and aggregates from nano to micro scales, with varying densities, morphologies, heterogeneous compositions, and complicated responses to flow regimes and process conditions. Further, remnant or changing radiation fields may affect the stability and rheology of the waste. These conditions pose challenges for transport through conduits or pipes to treatment plants for vitrification. Additionally, recalcitrant boehmite degrades glass quality and the high aluminum content must be reduced prior to vitrification for the manufacture of waste glass of acceptable durability. However, caustic leaching indicates that boehmite dissolves much more slowly than predicted given surface normalized rates. Existing empirical models based on ex situ experiments and observations generally only describe material balances and have not effectively predicted process performance. Recent advances in the areas of in situ microscopy, aberration-corrected transmission electron microscopy, theoretical modeling across scales, and experimental methods for probing the physics and chemistry at mineral-fluid and mineral-mineral interfaces are being implemented to build robustly predictive physics-based models.

Abstract
Selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) with microspheres labelled with the β-emitter yttrium-90 (Y-90) enables targeted delivery of radiation to hepatic tumors. SIRT is primarily used to treat inoperable primary or metastatic liver tumors. Eligible patients have usually been exposed to a variety of systemic anticancer therapies, including cytotoxic agents, targeted biologics, immunotherapy and peptide receptor radionuclide therapy (PRRT). All these treatments have potential interactions with SIRT; however, robust evidence on the safety of these potential combinations is lacking. This paper provides current clinical experiences and expert consensus guidelines for the use of SIRT in combination with the anticancer treatment agents likely to be encountered in clinical practice. It was agreed by the expert panel that precautions need to be taken with certain drugs, but that, in general, systemic therapies do not necessarily have to be stopped to perform SIRT. The authors recommend stopping vascular endothelial growth factor inhibitors 4-6 weeks before SIRT, and restart after the patient has recovered from the procedure. It may also be prudent to stop potent radiosensitizers such as gemcitabine therapy 4 weeks before SIRT, and restart treatment at least 2‒4 weeks later. Data from phase III studies combining SIRT with fluorouracil (5FU) or folinic acid/5FU/oxaliplatin (FOLFOX) suggest that hematological toxicity is more common from the combination than it is from chemotherapy without SIRT. There is no evidence to suggest that chemotherapy increases SIRT-specific gastro-intestinal or liver toxicities.

Abstract
Metastatic liver disease is a major cause of cancer-related morbidity and mortality. Surgical resection is considered the only curative treatment, yet only a minority is eligible. Patients who present with unresectable disease are treated with systemic agents and/or locoregional therapies. The latter include thermal ablation and catheter-based transarterial interventions. Thermal ablation is reserved for those with limited tumor burden. It is used to downstage the disease to enable curative surgical resection, as an adjunct to surgery, or in select patients it is potentially curative. Transarterial therapies are indicated in those with more diffuse disease. The goals of care are to palliate symptoms and prolong survival. The indications and supporting data for thermal ablation and transarterial interventions are reviewed, technical and tumor factors that need to be considered prior to intervention are outlined, and finally several cases are presented.

Abstract
PURPOSE To determine value of transarterial radioembolization (TARE) for palliative treatment of unresectable liver-dominant breast metastases (LdBM) and to determine prognostic parameters. MATERIALS AND METHODS Records of patients undergoing TARE for progressing LdBM between June 2006 and March 2015 were retrospectively reviewed; 44 female patients (mean age 56.1 y; range, 34.9-85.3 y) underwent 69 TAREs (56 resin-based, 13 glass-based). Of 44 patients, 42 had bilobar disease. Mean administered activity was 1.35 GBq ± 0.71. Median clinical and imaging follow-up times were 121 days (range, 26-870 d; n = 42 patients) and 93 days (range, 26-2,037 d; n = 38 patients). Clinical and biochemical toxicities, imaging response (according to Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors), time to progression, and overall survival (OS) were evaluated. Data were analyzed with stratification according to clinical and procedural parameters. RESULTS Toxicities included 1 cholecystitis (grade 2) and 1 duodenal ulceration (grade 3); no grade ≥ 4 clinical toxicities were noted. Objective response rate (complete + partial response) was 28.9% (11/38); disease control rate (response + stable disease) was 71.1% (27/38). Median time to progression of treated liver lobe was 101 days (range, 30-2,037 d). During follow-up, 34/42 patients died (median OS after first TARE: 184 d [range 29-2,331 d]). On multivariate analysis, baseline Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) status of 0 (P < .0001, hazard ratio [HR] = 0.146) and low baseline γ-glutamyltransferase (GGT) levels (P = .0146, HR = 0.999) were predictors of longer OS. CONCLUSIONS TARE can successfully delay progression of therapy-refractory LdBM with low complication rate. Nonelevated baseline ECOG status and low GGT levels were identified as prognostic factors.

Abstract
Purpose To evaluate prognostic values of clinical and diffusion-weighted magnetic resonance imaging-derived intravoxel incoherent motion (IVIM) parameters in patients undergoing primary radioembolization for metastatic breast cancer liver metastases. Subjects and methods A total of 21 females (mean age 54 years, range 43–72 years) with liver-dominant metastatic breast cancer underwent standard liver magnetic resonance imaging (1.5 T, diffusion-weighted imaging with b-values of 0, 50, and 800 s/mm2) before and 4–6 weeks after radioembolization. The IVIM model-derived estimated diffusion coefficient D’ and the perfusion fraction f’ were evaluated by averaging the values of the two largest treated metastases in each patient. Kaplan–Meier and Cox regression analyses for overall survival (OS) were performed. Investigated parameters were changes in f’- and D’-values after therapy, age, sex, Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) status, grading of primary tumor, hepatic tumor burden, presence of extrahepatic disease, baseline bilirubin, previous bevacizumab therapy, early stasis during radioembolization, chemotherapy after radioembolization, repeated radioembolization and Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST) response at 6-week follow-up. Results Median OS after radioembolization was 6 (range 1.5–54.9) months. In patients with therapy-induced decreasing or stable f’-values, median OS was significantly longer than in those with increased f’-values (7.6 [range 2.6–54.9] vs 2.6 [range 1.5–17.4] months, P<0.0001). Longer median OS was also seen in patients with increased D’-values (6 [range 1.6–54.9] vs 2.8 [range 1.5–17.4] months, P=0.008). Patients with remission or stable disease (responders) according to RECIST survived longer than nonresponders (7.2 [range 2.6–54.9] vs 2.6 [range 1.5–17.4] months, P<0.0001). An ECOG status ≤1 resulted in longer median OS than >1 (7.6 [range 2.6–54.9] vs 1.7 [range 1.5–4.5] months, P<0.0001). Pretreatment IVIM parameters and the other clinical characteristics were not associated with OS. Classification by f’-value changes and ECOG status remained as independent predictors of OS on multivariate analysis, while RECIST response and D’-value changes did not predict survival. Conclusion Following radioembolization of breast cancer liver metastases, early changes in the IVIM model-derived perfusion fraction f’ and baseline ECOG score were predictive of patient outcome, and may thus help to guide treatment strategy.

BACKGROUND Patients with primary and metastatic liver malignancies represent a highly heterogeneous patient pool characterised by some of the shortest life expectancies amongst oncology patients. Investigation and better understanding of liver malignancies is an emerging field which requires high-quality multidisciplinary research and collaboration. METHODS A study of 158 patients with primary hepatic carcinomas and secondary liver metastases, altogether 15 cancer types of different origin, who underwent selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) with Yttrium(90) or transarterial chemoembolisation, was undertaken in an effort to detect distinguishing features with respect to activity profiles of both blood matrix metalloproteinase (MMP-2 and MMP-9). RESULTS Noteworthy, stratification of all hepatic cancer groups with respect to MMP-2 and MMP-9 activities revealed characteristic patterns specifically in patients with hepatic breast cancer metastases who had undergone SIRT. In contrast to all other groups, these patients demonstrated well-consolidated profiles of both MMPs, reflecting a common feature, namely an immediate and durable increase of their activity after the SIRT treatment. Although the total number of patients in the breast cancer group is relatively small (15 patients), since increased activities of MMP-2 and MMP-9 are well known prognostic factors for poor outcomes of oncologic patients, the significance and clear group-specificity (from 15 ones investigated here) of this previously unanticipated finding requires particular attention and further investigations. Particularly important is to determine, whether this increase of the metalloproteinase activity was provoked by SIRT, as well as whether special selection criteria are required for patients with breast cancer metastases to the liver who are being considered for SIRT. CONCLUSIONS It is recommended that a more focused, multidisciplinary and large-scaled investigations of the possible adverse effects of SIRT in patients with advanced metastatic disease of breast cancer be undertaken, with an appropriate patients' stratification, set-up of the relevant patient profiles and disease modelling.

Abstract
AIM: To further define variables associated with increased incidences of severe toxicities following administration of yttrium-90 (90Y) microspheres.
METHODS: Fifty-eight patients undergoing 79 treatments were retrospectively assessed for development of clinical and laboratory toxicity incidence following 90Y administration. Severe toxicity events were defined using Common Terminology Criteria for Adverse Events version 4.03 and defined as grade ≥ 3. Univariate logistic regression analyses were used to evaluate the effect of different factors on the incidence of severe toxicity events. Multicollinearity was assessed for all factors with P < 0.1 using Pearson correlation matrices. All factors not excluded due to multicollinearity were included in a multivariate logistic regression model for each measurement of severe toxicity.
RESULTS: Severe (grade ≥ 3) toxicities occurred following 21.5% of the 79 treatments included in our analysis. The most common severe laboratory toxicities were severe alkaline phosphatase (17.7%), albumin (12.7%), and total bilirubin (10.1%) toxicities. Decreased pre-treatment albumin (OR = 26.2, P = 0.010) and increased pre-treatment international normalized ratio (INR) (OR = 17.7, P = 0.048) were associated with development of severe hepatic toxicity. Increased pre-treatment aspartate aminotransferase (AST; OR = 7.4, P = 0.025) and decreased pre-treatment hemoglobin (OR = 12.5, P = 0.025) were associated with severe albumin toxicity. Increasing pre-treatment model for end-stage liver disease (MELD) score (OR = 1.8, P = 0.033) was associated with severe total bilirubin toxicity. Colorectal adenocarcinoma histology was associated with severe alkaline phosphatase toxicity (OR = 5.4, P = 0.043).
CONCLUSION: Clinicians should carefully consider pre-treatment albumin, INR, AST, hemoglobin, MELD, and colorectal histology when choosing appropriate candidates for 90Y microsphere therapy.

Abstract
UNLABELLED The present study evaluated safety, efficacy, and prognostic factors for (90)Y-yttrium microsphere radioembolization of unresectable liver metastases from breast cancer. METHODS Eighty-one patients were treated with radioembolization. Acute toxicity was monitored through daily physical examination and serum tests until 3 d after radioembolization; late toxicity was evaluated until 12 wk after radioembolization. Overall survival and response according to (18)F-FDG PET (>30% decrease of tracer uptake) and CA15-3 serum level (any decline) were recorded. Pretherapeutic characteristics, including pretreatment history, liver function tests, and PET/CT parameters, were assessed by univariate and subsequent multivariate Cox regression for predicting patient survival. RESULTS A toxicity grade of 3 or more based on clinical symptoms, bilirubin, ulcer, pancreatitis, ascites, or radioembolization-induced liver disease occurred in 10% or less of patients. Two patients eventually died from radioembolization-induced liver disease. Sequential lobar treatment and absence of prior angiosuppressive therapy were both associated with a lower rate of serious adverse events. On the basis of PET/CA15-3 criteria, 52/61% of patients responded to treatment. Median overall survival after radioembolization was 35 wk (interquartile range, 41 wk). Pretherapeutic tumor burden of the liver greater than 50% or more (P< 0.001; hazard ratio, 5.67; 95% confidence interval, 2.41-13.34) and a transaminase toxicity grade of 2 or more (P= 0.009; hazard ratio, 2.15; 95% confidence interval, 1.21-3.80) independently predicted short survival. CONCLUSION Radioembolization for breast cancer liver metastases shows encouraging local response rates with low incidence of serious adverse events, especially in those patients with sequential lobar treatment or without prior angiosuppressive therapy. High hepatic tumor burden and liver transaminase levels at baseline indicate poor outcome.

Abstract
To assess the prognostic role of total lesion glycolysis (TLG) in patients with breast cancer liver metastases (BCLM) after sequential lobar (90)Y-radioembolization ((90)Y-RE). Seventeen patients with bilobar BCLM underwent FDG PET/CT and TLG calculation before (90)Y-RE. The hepatic lobe with the highest TLG was treated in the first session. PET was performed 6 weeks postprocedure and decrease in TLG (ΔTLG) in the treated lobe was calculated before the second (90)Y administration. Subjects were divided in two groups (group 1: ΔTLG >50%, group 2: ΔTLG <50%). After the two consecutive (90)Y-therapies, patients underwent follow-up until death. Statistical analysis was performed to identify prognostic factors on overall survival (OS). After the first (90)Y administration, 10 cases showed a ΔTLG >50% and seven had a ΔTLG value <50%. After the two consecutive procedures, the mean OS for all patients was 13.5 ± 0.8 months. Subjects with a ΔTLG >50% and ΔTLG <50% had a mean OS of 16.4 ± 0.6 and 10.3 ± 0.4 months, respectively (p < 0.001). Cox regression analysis demonstrated hepatic tumor load (p = 0.048) and ΔTLG as the only significant (p = 0.005) predictors of survival. ΔTLG after the first (90)Y administration agrees with final outcome in BCLM patients after separate sequential lobar (90)Y-RE.

Abstract
BACKGROUND This prospective, open-label phase II study assessed the impact of liver-directed therapy with selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) and systemic chemotherapy on progression-free survival (PFS) in liver-dominant metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. METHODS Patients received yttrium-90-labelled ((90)Y) resin microspheres (SIR-Spheres; Sirtex Medical Limited, Sydney, Australia) as a single procedure on day 2 of the first weekly cycle of 5-fluorouracil (5FU; 600 mg/m(2)) with the option to switch to gemcitabine (1000 mg/m(2)) after 8 weeks of 5FU. Statistical analysis was conducted using Microsoft Excel (Microsoft Corporation, Redmond, Washington, USA). The primary endpoint of the study was PFS in the liver, with a median of ≥ 16 weeks defined as the threshold for clinical significance. PFS and overall survival (OS) were summarised by the Kaplan-Meier method using non-parametric estimates of the survivor function. RESULTS Fourteen eligible patients were enrolled; ten had primary tumour in situ and eight had liver-only metastases. Patients received a median (90)Y activity of 1.1 GBq and 8 weekly doses of 5FU; seven patients received a median of two doses of gemcitabine. Disease control in the liver was 93% (two confirmed partial responses [PR], one unconfirmed PR, ten stable disease). Median reduction in cancer antigen 19-9 was 72%. Median PFS was 5.2 months in the liver, which met the primary endpoint of the study, and 4.4 months at any site. PFS was prolonged in those with a resected primary compared with patients with primary in situ (median 7.8 vs. 3.4 months; p = 0.017). Median OS was 5.5 months overall and 13.6 months in patients with a resected primary. Grade 3/4 adverse events occurred in eight (57%) patients during days 0-60. There was one sudden death and another patient who died from possible treatment-related liver failure 7.0 months after SIRT. CONCLUSIONS SIRT and chemotherapy appears to be an effective treatment for liver metastases from pancreatic cancer, likely to be of most benefit in selected patients with a resected primary tumour and liver only disease. Significant toxicity was observed and the safety of this approach in patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer will need to be confirmed in subsequent studies. Abstract
The liver is a common site of metastasis, with essentially all metastatic malignancies having been known to spread to the liver. Nearly half of all patients with extrahepatic primary cancer have hepatic metastases. The severe prognostic implications of hepatic metastases have made surgical resection an important first line treatment in management. However, limitations such as the presence of extrahepatic spread or poor functional hepatic reserve exclude the majority of patients as surgical candidates, leaving chemotherapy and locoregional therapies as next best options. Selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) is a form of catheter-based locoregional cancer treatment modality for unresectable tumors, involving trans-arterial injection of microspheres embedded with a radio-isotope Yttrium-90. The therapeutic radiation dose is selectively delivered as the microspheres permanently embed themselves within the tumor vascular bed. Use of SIRT has been conventionally aimed at treating primary hepatic tumors (hepatocellular carcinoma) or colorectal and neuroendocrine metastases. Numerous reviews are available for these tumor types. However, little is known or reviewed on non-colorectal or non-neuroendocrine primaries. Therefore, the aim of this paper is to systematically review the current literature to evaluate the effects of Yttrium-90 radioembolization on non-conventional liver tumors including those secondary to breast cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, ocular and percutaneous melanoma, pancreatic cancer, renal cell carcinoma, and lung cancer.

Abstract
Transarterial radioembolization with yttrium-90 resin microspheres (SIR-Spheres; Sirtex Medical Limited, Sydney, Australia) is a liver-directed therapy that is gaining recognition as a treatment option for liver-dominant primary and metastatic cancers. The incidence of complications is low and can be further reduced by patient selection and rigorous pretreatment assessment. Ideal candidates for radioembolization have preserved liver function without ascites or encephalopathy, Child-Pugh score <7 and limited lung shunting. Phase III randomized controlled trials (RCTs) against other liver-directed therapies are lacking for intermediate-stage hepatocellular carcinoma. However, preliminary data from a recent RCT has suggested that radioembolization has a similar time-to-progression and comparable toxicity to selective chemoembolization. Phase II/III RCTs are now ongoing to evaluate the combination of radioembolization with systemic therapies in advanced-stage hepatocellular carcinoma and metastatic liver-dominant colorectal cancer in order to expand the treatment opportunities for patients with cancers in the liver.

Abstract
PURPOSE To determine, in an open-label, retrospective report, the safety and effectiveness of locoregional therapy with yttrium-90 ((90)Y) radioembolization for patients with progressing breast cancer liver metastases (BCLMs) despite multi-agent chemotherapy. MATERIALS AND METHODS Seventy-five patients with progressing BCLMs and stable extrahepatic disease were treated with radioembolization at a single institution. Retrospective review of a prospectively collected database was performed to evaluate clinical and biochemical toxicities, tumor response, overall survival (OS), and time to progression. Radiologic response assessments included Response Evaluation Criteria In Solid Tumors in primary index lesions and metabolic activity on positron emission tomography (PET). Univariate and multivariate analyses were performed. RESULTS The mortality rate at 30 days was 4% (n = 3). Clinical toxicity and hyperbilirubinemia of grade 3 or worse occurred in 7.6% (n = 5) and 5.9% of patients (n = 4), respectively. Partial response (PR) was seen in 35.3% of patients (n = 24), stable disease (SD) in 63.2% (n = 43), and progressive disease in 1.5% (n = 1). PET imaging was available in 25 patients, and 21 (84%) had a complete response, PR, or SD. The median OS was 6.6 months (95% confidence interval [CI], 5.0-9.2 mo). The hazard ratio (HR) for OS on multivariate analysis was 0.39 (95% CI, 0.23-0.66) for tumor burden less than 25% compared with greater burden. Elevated bilirubin levels were shown to reduce OS. The HR for hepatic progression was 0.22 (95% CI, 0.05-0.98) for solitary versus multifocal disease. CONCLUSIONS Locoregional therapy with (90)Y radioembolization is safe and stops or delays the progression of targeted chemorefractory BCLMs. Adverse prognosticators were identified.

Abstract
Introduction The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of 131I gelatin microspheres (131I-GMS) on human breast cancer cells (MCF-7) in nude mice and the biodistribution of 131I-GMSs following intratumoral injections. Methods A total of 20 tumor-bearing mice were divided into a treatment group and control group and received intratumoral injections of 2.5 mci 131I-GMSs and nonradioactive GMSs, respectively. Tumor size was measured once per week. Another 16 mice received intratumoral injections of 0.4 mci 131I-GMSs and were subjected to single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) scans and tissue radioactivity concentration measurements on day 1, 4, 8 and 16 postinjection. The 20 tumor-bearing mice received intratumoral injections of 0.4 mci [131I] sodium iodide solution and were subjected to SPECT scans and intratumoral radioactivity measurements at 1, 6, 24, 48 and 72 h postinjection. The tumors were collected for histological examination. Results The average tumor volume in the 131I-GMSs group on post-treatment day 21 decreased to 86.82 ± 63.6%, while it increased to 893.37 ± 158.12% in the control group (P < 0.01 vs. the 131I-GMSs group). 131I-GMSs provided much higher intratumoral retention of radioactivity, resulting in 19.93 ± 5.24% of the injected radioactivity after 16 days, whereas the control group retained only 1.83 ± 0.46% of the injected radioactivity within the tumors at 1 h postinjection. Conclusions 131I-GMSs suppressed the growth of MCF-7 in nude mice and provided sustained intratumoral radioactivity retention. The results suggest the potential of 131I-GMSs for clinical applications in radiotherapy for breast cancer.

Abstract
As a relatively safe outpatient procedure, radioembolization can potentially be used to treat any type of tumor within the liver, primary or metastatic. The safety and effectiveness of radioembolization in the treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) has led many groups to explore its application in other malignancies. Moreover, other organs, such as the lungs and kidneys, have been explored as targets for therapy. Although the most data for radioembolization is related to HCC and mCRC, there is increasing experience and data regarding metastatic disease to the liver for other primary tumors. We review the current state of liver-directed therapy with radioembolization outside of HCC and mCRC, including metastatic neuroendocrine, breast, and melanoma, as well as limited experiences with other primary malignancies. Applications of radioembolization related to these other cancers and new trends and future directions will be discussed. With increasing use and availability of radioembolization, it promises to serve an expanding role in the repertoire of tools available for treating and managing oncologic disease.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES To assess patterns of failure and factors affecting recurrence patterns in colorectal cancer patients treated with Y-labeled resin microspheres for metastatic liver disease. METHODS We retrospectively reviewed 30 colorectal patients treated with Yttrium-90 radioembolization and assessed follow-up computed tomography scans and positron emission tomography scans to determine disease outcomes. All patients were included in survival analysis. Twenty-six patients with hepatic metastases were assessed for patterns of failure after radioembolization treatment and grouped into 3 patterns: (1) hepatic; (2) extrahepatic; and (3) intrahepatic and extrahepatic. RESULTS The median overall survival and progression-free survival for all colorectal patients treated with radioembolization was 9.4 and 3.2 months, respectively. Overall survival and progression-free survival were not significantly different between patterns of failure (P=0.43 and 0.26, respectively). Logistic regression analysis demonstrated a trend toward the predictive value of tumor volume in determining patterns of failure. Smaller tumor volumes had a higher predictive probability for extrahepatic failure than larger tumor volumes (P=0.057). Tumor volumes <300 mL were predictive for extrahepatic failure patterns compared with hepatic recurrence (P=0.046). CONCLUSIONS Radioembolization with Y-labeled resin microspheres continues to be an effective salvage treatment for colorectal liver metastases. Analysis of patterns of radiologic failure demonstrated that patients treated by radioembolization develop a greater proportion of extrahepatic failure. Tumor volumes >300 mL were predictive for hepatic recurrence, suggesting that increased dosing or retreatment of these lesions may lead to improved hepatic control of disease and better patient outcomes.

Abstract
INTRODUCTION There are a paucity of data on the treatment of unresectable, chemoresistant breast cancer liver metastases (BRCLM) with yttrium-90 (Y90) radioembolization. METHODS Forty patients underwent resin-based Y90 radioembolization for unresectable, chemoresistant BRCLM between 2006 and 2012 in a single institution. All patients were followed up with imaging studies at regular intervals as clinically indicated until death. Radiologic response was evaluated with the Response Criteria in Solid Tumors criteria. Clinical toxicities were prospectively recorded as per the National Cancer Institute Common Toxicity Criteria. Survival was calculated by the Kaplan-Meier method and potential prognostic variables were identified on univariate and multivariate analysis. RESULTS Follow-up was complete in all patients. The median follow-up was 11.2 (range 0.6-30.5) months and the median survival after Y90 radioembolization was 13.6 months, with a 24-month survival of 39 %. On imaging follow-up of 38 patients who survived beyond 1 month of treatment, a complete response (CR) to treatment was observed in two patients (5 %), partial response (PR) in 10 patients (26 %), stable disease (SD) in 15 patients (39 %), and progressive disease (PD) in 11 patients (29 %). Two factors were associated with an improved survival on multivariate analysis: CR/PR to treatment (vs. SD vs. PD; p < 0.001) and chemotherapy after radioembolization (vs. no chemotherapy; p = 0.004). Sixteen patients (40 %) developed clinical toxicity after treatment; all complications were minor grade I/II and resolved without active intervention. CONCLUSION This study provides supportive evidence of the safety and efficacy on Y90 radioembolization for the treatment of unresectable, chemoresistant BRCLM. Further prospective investigation is required to assess the suitability of this treatment in this population.

Abstract
Metastatic liver disease is the most common cause of death in cancer patients. Complete surgical resection is currently considered the only curative treatment, with only about 25% of patients being amenable to surgery. Therefore, a variety of interventional oncologic techniques have been developed for treating secondary liver malignancies. The aim of these therapies is either to allow patients with unresectable tumors to become surgical candidates, provide curative treatment options in nonsurgical candidates, or improve survival in a palliative or even curative approach. Among these interventional therapies are transcatheter therapies such as portal vein embolization, hepatic artery infusion chemotherapy, transarterial chemoembolization, and radioembolization, as well as interstitial techniques, particularly radiofrequency ablation as the most commonly applied technique. The rationale, application and clinical results of each of these techniques are reviewed on the basis of the current literature. Future prospects such as gene therapy and immunotherapy are introduced.

Abstract
Radioembolization using yttrium-90 microspheres (⁹⁰Y-RE) is an emerging treatment option for breast cancer liver metastases (BCLM) patients if other locoregional and systemic treatment options fail. The purpose of this study was to provide a systematic overview of the current literature concerning ⁹⁰Y-RE for BCLM patients. A systematic search for relevant articles was performed in MEDLINE, EMBASE, and The Cochrane Library (January 2012) by combining an extensive list of synonyms for the determinants 'radioembolization', 'yttrium-90' and 'microsphere' with synonyms for the domain 'liver'. Data on tumor response, survival and toxicity were extracted and collected from all relevant articles. The search yielded 4078 studies, of which six were finally included for analysis, concerning a total of 198 patients. Tumor response was scored in five studies using either RECIST (n=3) or WHO criteria (n=2). Overall disease control rates (complete response, partial response and stable disease) at 2-4 months post treatment ranged from 78% to 96%. Median survival, available in four studies, ranged from 10.8 to 20.9 months. In total, gastric ulceration was reported in ten patients (5%) and treatment related mortality in three patients (2%). The results from the analyzed studies consistently show that ⁹⁰Y-RE is a safe and effective treatment option for BCLM patients. Comparative studies, especially combining ⁹⁰Y-RE with systemic therapy are strongly encouraged.

Abstract
PURPOSE To compare the outcomes (survival and adverse events) of the authors' use of (90) Y microsphere radioembolisation in patients with chemotherapy-refractory liver metastases with published data from other groups using radioembolisation. To retrospectively evaluate the efficiency, in particular survival benefits, of radioembolisation in the treatment of liver metastases. METHODS AND MATERIALS Over 5 years, 339 patients underwent (90) Y microsphere radioembolisation for unresectable liver metastases and were evaluated for adverse events at the time of treatment and 1 and 3 months after treatment. Overall survival (OS) was calculated by the Kaplan-Meier method. The results from the present retrospective study were compared with a number of prospective and retrospective clinical trials which have addressed the use of (90) Y microspheres as a salvage treatment for liver metastases. RESULTS The OS time of the present study (12.0 months) compares favourably with survival times reported by other groups. The incidence of late grade 2 adverse events (e.g. duodenal or gastric ulceration, radiation-induced liver disease, gall bladder complications) is comparable to previous studies, with a lower prevalence of grade 2/3 ulcerations (3.7%) at our centre. CONCLUSIONS The survival results, together with the low acute and late toxicity observed in our data and previous studies, support the use of radioembolisation to aid in the local control of unresectable liver metastases in the salvage setting. The present study contributes to the growing evidence for efficiency, in particular survival gains, of radioembolisation in the treatment of liver metastases.

Abstract
PURPOSE To analyze initial experience with computed tomography-guided high-dose-rate brachytherapy (CT-HDRBT) ablation of breast cancer liver metastases (BCLM). MATERIALS AND METHODS Between January 2008 and December 2010, 37 consecutive women with 80 liver metastases were treated with CT-HDRBT in 56 sessions. Mean age was 58.6 years (range, 34-83 y). Treatment was performed by CT-guided applicator placement and high-dose-rate brachytherapy with an iridium-192 source. The mean radiation dose was 18.57 Gy (standard deviation 2.27). Tumor response was evaluated by gadoxetic acid-enhanced liver magnetic resonance (MR) imaging performed before treatment, 6 weeks after treatment, and every 3 months thereafter. RESULTS Two patients were lost to follow-up; the remaining 35 patients were available for MR imaging evaluation for a mean follow-up time of 11.6 months (range 3-32 mo). Mean tumor diameter was 25.5 mm (range 8-74 mm). Two (2.6%) local recurrences were observed after local tumor control for 10 months and 12 months. Both local progressions were successfully retreated. Distant tumor progression (new metastases or enlargement of nontreated metastases) occurred during the follow-up period in 11 (31.4%) patients. Seven (20%) patients died during the follow-up period. Overall survival ranged from 3-39 months (median 18 months). CONCLUSIONS CT-HDRBT is a safe and effective ablative therapy, providing a high rate of local tumor control in patients with BCLM.

Abstract
OBJECTIVES Metastatic breast cancer is a heterogeneous disease, commonly affecting the liver. We report our experience with (90)Y radioembolisation (RE) and its effects on the survival of patients with treatment-refractory breast cancer liver metastases. METHODS A total of 77 female patients affected by breast cancer were accepted into our department for RE. Inclusion criteria were inoperable and chemotherapy-refractory hepatic metastases, acceptable performance status, sufficient residual liver, no significant hepato-pulmonary shunts. Patients were divided in two groups: group 1 (29 patients) included those with Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG) score 0, liver involvement (0-25 %) and no extrahepatic disease (EHD); group 2 (23 patient) included patients with ECOG score 1-2, liver involvement (26-50 %) and evidence of EHD. RESULTS A total of 25 patients were considered ineligible. The median age of the remaining 52 patients was 57.5 years. The median overall survival was 11.5 months and better in those whose performance status and liver function were preserved (14.3 versus 8.2 months). According to Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumor (RECIST), partial response (PR) was achieved in 29 patients (56 %), stable disease (SD) was achieved in a further 18 patients (35 %) and 5 patients showed progressive disease (PD) (10 %). DISCUSSION (90)Y RE is effective in the treatment of liver metastases from breast cancer. We demonstrated a relevant survival and encouragingly high response rate in patients with treatment-refractory disease.

Abstract
UNLABELLED (90)Y radioembolization (selective internal radiation therapy [SIRT]) has emerged as a valuable therapeutic option in unresectable, chemotherapy-refractory hepatic metastases from breast cancer. The objective of the present study was to evaluate (18)F-FDG PET/CT for predicting survival in these patients. METHODS Fifty-eight consecutive patients with hepatic metastases from breast cancer were treated with SIRT. Before therapy, all patients underwent MRI of the liver. (18)F-FDG PET/CT was performed at baseline and 3 mo after SIRT to calculate percentage changes in maximum (18)F-FDG standardized uptake value (SUV(max)) relative to baseline. A decrease of more than 30% in the follow-up scan, compared with the baseline examination, indicated therapy response. Treatment response at 3 mo was also assessed in 43 patients using contrast-enhanced MRI and CT on the basis of the Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors. All patients were followed to complete survival data. RESULTS Overall median survival after SIRT was 47 wk. Response as assessed with SUV(max) correlated significantly with survival after radioembolization, with responders having significantly longer survival (65 wk) than nonresponders (43 wk; P < 0.05). In multivariate analysis the change in SUV(max) was identified as the only independent predictor of survival (hazard ratio, 0.23; P < 0.005). Furthermore, a high pretherapeutic SUV(max) (>20) was associated with a significantly shorter median survival than was an SUV(max) of 20 or less (21 vs. 52 wk; P < 0.005). The presence of extrahepatic metastases (mean survival in both groups, 47 wk; P = 0.92), hormone receptor status (estrogen, P = 0.53; progesterone, P = 0.79; Her-2/neu, P = 0.49), and MRI/CT response (P = 0.91) did not predict survival. CONCLUSION The change in SUV(max) as assessed by (18)F-FDG PET/CT before and 3 mo after SIRT was identified as the only independent predictor of survival in patients with hepatic metastases of breast cancer.

Abstract
The incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma is increasing. Most patients present beyond potentially curative options and are usually affected by underlying cirrhosis. In this scenario, transarterial therapies, such as radioembolization, are rapidly gaining acceptance as a potential therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma and liver metastases. Radioembolization is a catheter-based liver-directed therapy that involves the injection of micron-sized embolic particles loaded with a radioisotope by use of percutaneous transarterial techniques. Cancer cells are preferentially supplied by arterial blood and normal hepatocytes by portal venous blood; therefore, radioembolization specifically targets tumor cells with a high dose of lethal radiation and spares healthy hepatocytes. The antitumor effect mostly comes from radiation rather than embolization. The most commonly used radioisotope is yttrium-90. The commercially available devices are TheraSphere (glass based; MDS Nordion, Ottawa, Canada) and SIR-Sphere (resin based; Sirtex, Lane Cove, Australia). The procedure is performed on an outpatient basis. The incidence of complications is comparatively less than other locoregional therapies and may include nausea, fatigue, abdominal pain, hepatic dysfunction, biliary injury, fibrosis, radiation pneumonitis, gastrointestinal ulcers, and vascular injury. However, these complications can be avoided by meticulous pretreatment assessment, careful patient selection, and adequate dosimetry. This article focuses on both the technical and clinical aspects of radioembolization with emphasis on patient selection, uses and complications.
