Author‘s Comments
As a frequent researcher and a reviewer for WJP, I would like to humbly offer a smart suggestion to further improve the efficiency of the Baishideng Publishing Group (BPG):
Suggestion:
Consider developing a more intuitive "Interactive File Exchange Module" within the F6 Publishing System.
Proposed Features:
Dedicated Drop-zone: A specific area within the "Author Comments" or "Production Query" section where authors can drag and drop large image files (TIFF/PNG) or tables directly, bypassing email size limits.
Version Control: A simple interface to manage different versions of figures (e.g., "Figure 2D_v2") to avoid confusion between the production team and the authors.
Real-time Status Tags: Indicators showing whether the editor has successfully downloaded the file or if the file is pending review.
Benefit:
This enhancement would significantly reduce the back-and-forth emails regarding missing files and ensure that high-resolution figures and supplementary data are archived securely and efficiently.
I truly appreciate your consideration of this suggestion. Thank you for fostering such a supportive environment for scholars.
