The manuscript touched an important area of Medicine in an important age group, investigation eating disorders is of great importance among adolescents with type 1 diabetes mellitus. The authors introduced their projects, presented their findings, discussed them, and reached a conclusion. Eating disorders are common, when co-exist with diabetes they exacerbate each other deleterious consequences. Importantly, adolescent might decrease the dose or omit insulin in an attempt to reduce weight, resulting in poor glycemic control or even ketoacidosis (diabulimia). Raising the awareness of eating disorders among patients with diabetes is vital to avoid acute and chronic diabetes complications.
