Dr. Saurabh Chandan is a senior fellow in the field of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska (USA). He completed his medical school training from St. George’s University School of Medicine in Grenada, WI and went on to complete his internship in Internal Medicine at the University at Buffalo (The State University of New York). He then completed his Internal Medicine residency training at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He has keen interest in gastrointestinal motility and pancreas-to-biliary disorders. He has published several systematic reviews and meta-analyses pertaining to motility disorders and advanced luminal endoscopic interventions. Dr. Chandan has particular interest in trainee education and is an active member of several gastrointestinal societies including American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ASGE), American College of Gastroenterology (ACG) and Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. He plays an active role in American Gastroenterological Association(AGA) as a Young Delegate. He will be continuing his academic career as an Assistant Professor of Gastroenterology & Hepatology at Creighton University, Omaha Nebraska after completing his fellowship in 2020.
